Dr. Joanie Winstead is a Board Eligible Chiropractic Neurologist located in Carthage, MS. Dr. Winstead is a Graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA and has been in private practice for 7 years. She is a member of Dr. Michael L. Johnson’s Functional Neurology Group which is comprised of in excess of 500 chiropractors who consult on difficult cases such as Peripheral Neuropathy, Migraine Headaches, Thyroid conditions, Diabetes, Auto Immune Conditions, etc. Dr. Johnson is the author of “What Do You Do When the Medications Don’t Work?” Dr. Winstead has completed in excess of 600 Post Graduate Neurology Courses, since 2009, through the world renowned Carrick Institute. She will sit for part 2 of the Diplomate in Chiropractic Neurology in August 2013. Dr. Winstead has completed, since 2009, in excess of 150 Post Graduate hours in Functional Medicine, including Functional Blood Chemistry, Functional Endocrinology, Neurotransmitters and the Brain, and Mastering the Thyroid. She is presently enrolled in Functional Medicine University. Dr. Winstead has had success helping patients recover from the symptoms related to their chronic illnesses such as: Thyroid Disorders, Migraine Headaches, Peripheral Neuropathy, AutoImmune Conditions(IBS, Chron’s, RA, Eczema, MS, etc), Diabetes, and all forms of Chronic Back and Neck pain.
